We at DMA feel that no matter what your initial interest or desires in a Martial Arts training or an exercise program may be, we can offer you a new and unique way to grow and add a new dimension to your thought process that can be of use to you in your attitude towards everyday life in general.
DMA offers programs of physical exercise designed to develop agility, balance and coordination to add to a personal feeling of well-being. It is intermixed with an attempt to understand yourself and your relationship to the society in which you live in and with this understanding, to develop self-control, respect and confidence in order to cope intelligently with the every day trials and tribulations life may bring your way.
Our programs are a personal challenge of self-improvement. Our programs are built on the participation of everyone, at all levels of age, gender and ability. As you grow as a student you are able to help others grow and develop a tolerance and understanding.

DMA GOJU Selfdefense
DMA GOJU Self-defense can teach you how to size up a situation and utilize techniques for breaking an attacker's grasp and other things you can do to get away. For example, attackers usually anticipate how their victim might react that kick to the groin or jab to the eyes, for instance. A good self-defense class can teach you ways to surprise your attacker and catch him or her off guard. One of the best things people take away from these classes is self-confidence. The last thing you want to be thinking about during an attack is, "Can I really pull this defensive tactic off" It's much easier to take action in an emergency if you've already had a few dry runs.
GOJU is a system of martial arts created by Chojun Miyagi designed to teach teens and adults the fundamentals and principles of self-defense. Instructor David Suarez, holds a 4th Degree Black Belt in the Hard/ Soft Martial Art system of GOJU, 1st. Degree Black Belt in JuJitsu, Instructor level trained in the Philippine fighting system of Kali, American Kickboxing fighter, trainer, instructor with over 35 years of self defense experience. Throughout the beginner level and continued into the advanced level, you will learn effective self defense techniques and strategies which will be executed in simulated real-life situations. After 35+ years in the martial arts, David Suarez has become a "Self-Defense Specialist". His training and experience allow him to provide realistic and effective self-defense training and presentations. David's Specialized Self-defense Curriculum, DDT Self-Defense, is designed to teach people the basic, Intermediate and Advanced fundamentals of self-defense through effective and progressive hands-on instruction. DMA carefully follows the original training methods of GOJU-RYU then adding our own blend of street ready self-defense strategies.

Our teaching curriculum is based on two principle concepts:
Positive Mental Attitude and High Goal Setting.
DMA Combat Sports Training System is a careful combination of several Martial Arts. This mixture of martial arts disciplines ensures our students receive the most effective form of life skills development, self confidence, discipline, self-defense and physical conditioning possible. Each Student is taught and advanced on an individual basis. Requirements increase in both length and complexity for each new level; therefore, each student will progress according to their personal dedication and effort. It is entirely up to the individual as to how hard he or she wishes to train, as a result, advancing in the system. Our specialty combat venue is Kickboxing.
What is Kickboxing?
Kickboxing is a sport which combines martial arts and boxing. It adds together kicks from martial arts and punching from boxing. Kickboxing is a standing sport and does not allow continuation of the fight once a combatant has reached the ground.
The basic moves are kicking, punching, jumping and blocking. The kicks are very similar to the martial arts of Kung Fu and Taekwon-Do, and Karate. The punches are the same as in boxing and the arms are held next to the head.
Kickboxing is often mistaken for Muay Thai, also known as Thai Boxing. The two sports are similar, however, in Thai Boxing, kicks below the belt are allowed, as are strikes with knees and elbows.
WAKO (World Association of Kickboxing Organisations) Kickboxing has 6 different styles for competition under the Kickboxing banner, semi contact, light continous , full contact, low-kick, K1-style and musical forms. Also Aero Kickboxing is soon to be added to this group.
Today, W.A.K.O is the largest unified kickboxing organization in the world.

DMA Kickboxing for Fitness
This program incorporates a high energy and motivating workout concept. We utilize training techniques commonly used in Competitive Kickboxing and Combat Sports.
DMA KICKBOXING training will give you the fitness results you have always wanted, while teaching you to defend yourself. From shoulders to calves, you will become lean and strong. You will tighten, shape and tone your body while building a positive self-image, increasing your self-confidence and reducing your stress level.

Sport Martial Arts for Kids
This program has been specially designed for children (ages 7-12) years old. This dynamic curriculum will teach your child confidence, self-discipline and motor skills necessary to get a head start on both Martial Arts and Life. Your child will learn the positive benefits of self-discipline, confidence, coordination, increased strength and flexibility. A structure of respect is built into Martial Arts, children develop the ability to listen, learn and achieve within a highly regulated environment. All classes are taught by using safe, fun and exciting instruction methods appropriate for this specific age group.
