Wilson Hammer 5 Stretch oversize 113 square inch head Tennis Racket. This racket is a stretch 27.5 inches long and weighs 8.4 ounces unstrung. The H5 has a 27 mm dual taper beam utilizing isogrid technology with width where you need stability and power and a thinner beam for feel and spin. It is a 20% Hyper Carbon and 80% Graphite construction. This racket is balanced at 37 cm for more weight through the hit.

The H5 comes with the Full Racket Cover and Wilson ProFeel shock absorber pictured as well as Wilson's limited manufactures warranty.

Recommended String Tension is 55 to 65 lbs in this 16X20 design where I recommend going down two lbs in the cross strings to equalize pressure throughout the string bed. The H5 carries a swing index rating of 5 which Wilson recommends for players with medium to fast swings. Although the oversize version has a lot of power for depth on your ground strokes, the tapered head makes it somewhat easier to hit angled passing shots.

Wilson recommends Sensation string for this frame. I have the Red Sensation 16 gauge which matches this frame perfectly. If you like a somewhat crisper hit, I also have the Wilson Extreme Control in natural or orange color.
