       In Losangeles,Tim studied with Clare Fisher, Charlie Shoemake, Terry Trotter
and Lyle (Spud) Murphy.  He led his trio at Dontes, lunaria and many other
venues, playing with Dick Berk, Chuck Flores, Bob Summers, Kim Richmond,
 Darek Oles and others.
        In 1994, Tim received a scholarship from the Manhattan School of music and
 moved to New York. There he studied  with Jaki Byard and Harold Danko. He
also was a sub for Harold Danko and taught a jazz combo every semester which
 included players like Jason Moran. The Tim Lyddon trio perforrmed at
Birdland, Sweet Basil, Cornelia St. Cafe, Deerhead Inn and the knitting factory
 as well as many other clubs. He released 2 CD’s which received high praise
and radio play.

           In NYC, Tim played with Eliot Zigmund, Tony Moreno, Jeff Hirshfield, Scott Lee,
Bill Goodwin and many others.

          The pianist has been on tour in Houston and phoenix recently.
